HOW TO MAKE MONEY AS AN INSTAGRAM INFLUENCER
First of all, who is an Influencer? You hear that word a lot lately but what does it actually mean?
Basically, it’s any person that does the job (sponsored or not) of promoting brands on his/her social networks to their followers. Lately, I have been getting a lot of questions on how I started to be an Influencer, how I make money promoting brands and what applications or marketplace I use. Therefore, I have decided to dedicate a whole post on this topic!
1. LETS BEGIN
So you want to be an Influencer, what now? First of all, the content is the most important part of getting the attention of potential followers and brands. Think of it as your portfolio or resume and to get the job you need to have enough work experience. At first I started collaborating with brands in exchange for gifts and products. This way you get the practice you need while showing other brands that you are capable of creating content and getting the job done. To get these “collabs” all you need to do is email/DM brands and if they feel like you are a great fit, they will ship the item of your choice for you to shoot.
2. HOW TO APPROACH BRANDS
Now that you have been creating content for some time and feel like you are rocking the Instagram game, you may be ready to get the paid collaborations. The brands might be approaching YOU at this time but if your following is not quite large yet, you will not be getting too many offers. The best is to look into a professional Influencer Marketing Platform and the one I love and have been using for awhile is called BRANDSNOB.
3. HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH BRANDSNOB
You will need to download their app and apply to be able to use their platform. Once you are approved, you will be getting daily notifications from brands looking for influencers. The companies state what they want to promote, how many photos/videos/stories they would like as well as the type of photos they are looking for. Now all you need to do is make them an offer. The brands vary from clothing boutiques to new fitness inventions or even a new application release. Your offer will need to include a small proposal including desired payment amount.
The rate you put is completely up to you and depends on the job and the following you have.
Once the offer is sent the brand will review all the offers and decide which person is a great fit for them. Now, they will either accept your offer, choose someone else or negotiate your rate, which you can either accept or reject. I would suggest to apply to all the jobs even if you haven’t done that type of work before so you can grow and challenge yourself.
4. INFLUENCING
Now that your offer has been accepted, the company will make a payment (which will be held by Brandsnob) and mail you their product. Make sure to read all the instructions well so you do exactly what the brand wants and use all the appropriate tags required by them. When your post is up- you get paid! It’s very simple and fun to use.

COOKING WITH GREEN CHEF
Hello lovelies,
Today lets talk about food. Fact: back in the days (way back) food used to be a necessity for people to survive. Nowadays, we are spoiled with the variety of cuisines we have available, the amount of restaurants located in our block and the quantities of shelves filled with food in our local grocery store.
If you are like me though- a busy mom who also HATES grocery shopping, you will be excited to learn about meal plans that get delivered straight to your doorstep! Last week I have finally tried the GREEN CHEF – all Organic restaurant quality food delivery with chef-crafted recipes and I absolutely loved it! It is very convenient, easy to make meals that you prepare from fresh and organic ingredients. To sum it up: the big box arrives once a week (usually on a Tuesday), which has 3 step-by-step creative recipes and all the pre-measured and prepped ingredients individually wrapped and marked for your convenience. It takes approximately 30-40 minutes to prepare the meal and the whole evening to enjoy with your family and friends!

THE BIGGEST (AND MOST INSANE) DESSERTS IN MIAMI
“There is always room for dessert” right?
There is something about that sweet sugar that most of us can’t find the power to resist. Maybe its the fact that it elevates your mood, distresses you and gives you the kind of satisfaction that most other foods don’t. I try to have a healthy diet most of the time, but a good diet also means a balanced diet, which means once a week you are allowed to have that cheat day and eat food that is good for your soul and that makes you happy! I’m a big fan of desserts, when I go to restaurants I usually just get an appetizer, skip the main course and go straight for dessert (to make sure I have some room in my belly ;). Here in Miami, I have tried many cool places with crazy desserts and have created a list of the best, the most creative, the biggest, and the most insane desserts that we have!
1. BOCAS HOUSE (Doral): If you are latino/a living in Miami you probably know about this place. If you are not or if you are tourist you might want to get a reservation before going (especially on the weekend) as you might face a line of 1.5 hour wait! And its all for a good reason: you can sample one of the best cevices here, taste one of the best latin fusions and of course that dessert! Ohhh that dessert, that is a meal on its own! Choose from three types of milkshakes, topped with nutella or oreo cookies, topped with a cake or a cookie and topped with more ice cream and nutella! It might take you awhile to finish it up and you will probably end up taking some to go.
2. CRAFT CAFE (South Beach): This one has the same idea but with added coffee! And not just coffee, its has more creme, more caramel, some marshmallows and topped with ice cream cones! There is a reason why some of these desserts have a tag with ” RIP diet” in them.
3. SUGAR FACTORY (Lincoln Road). These milkshakes are a definition of “Insane”. They have the craziest mix in them like the popcorn topping or pretzels on cheesecake. But wait! The craziest of all the Burger Milkshake that has a real cheeseburger with bacon on top of a sweet milkshake! You may as well just order that and have both the course meal and the dessert all in one! These one’s are the best for kids as the flavors are entertaining and the candy is more appealing to the young ones.

THE BEST SPAS IN MIAMI

If you are visiting Miami or just want to unwind from your busy lifestyle then you might want to visit one of the popular spas here in Florida. Almost every spa has something special to offer: the beautiful views of the beach, the unique treatments or the exotic decor. In this post though I will mention two of MY favorite places, both very different yet very special to me.
Let’s start with the one with the best view and decor – the ICON SPA on Brickell Ave, Downtown Miami. It is located on the 15th floor, thus, having some amazing views of the Bay. The whole spa was designed by the famous interior designer Philippe Starck and features floors and walls made out of marble, floor to ceiling windows and the furniture of royal style. And did I mention the most extravagant yellow chandelier that sits up on the high ceiling making this spa the most beautiful I have ever been to! Even stepping into the changing rooms you will be impressed to see the royal vanity make up table, huge free standing mirror and just about anything you might need from cotton pads to stylish hairdryer. In the spa bar you can help yourself to different types of tea or cucumber water. The spa offers many treatments as well as sauna, steam room and a modern gym. The next spa I want to mention is The STANDARD SPA at the Standard Spa Miami Hotel. The reason I like this place is its uniqueness and variety of things you can do while visiting them. This spa is very busy and for a good reason: with any treatment you choose over $75 you get a full day pass to their zero entry pool with views of the Bay, the turkish hammam (heated marble) , sauna, steam room and the gym. And if that wasn’t enough, they have a mud lounge located outside overlooking the Bay where you can buy their colored mud (its $40 or bring your own…see my suggestions at the bottom of this post), put it all over your body (you are welcome to be naked there if you dare) and dry it off in the Miami sun before hosing down in one of their outside tubs! You can also just take a soak in one of those tubs with cocktail in hand if you will 😉 If you want to plan your stay at this hotel you can book a room with your own outdoor bathtub and visit the spa free of charge.

FESTIVAL VIBES
Hello beauties,
Here comes that time of the year when Miami gets overcrowded with young adults and spring breakers for our annual Miami Music Festival Week. The town will transform into a party scene full of pool parties followed by night DJ performances at the best clubs. And if that’s not enough, you can always go to one of the 24/7 after party places which I will mention below 😉 Being a new local, I have decided to create a Music Festival Events Guide for all the visitors that are coming our way this spring break.
First we will start with where to stay. If you want to be in the middle of the party scene you should stay in South Beach. There are tons of big and small hotels that tend to a visitor of any type. If its a bunch of you and you’d like to save money by staying together, I would suggest looking for apartments on www.airbnb.com. There is always an option to rent a room (or a couch!) on that same website or you could also try www.craigslist.com. Now, where to go and what to attend? During the day there are tons of pool parties at different hotels throughout South Beach. To name the best one’s (in my opinion) Delano Hotel, SLS Hotel, Nikki Beach, Mondrian Hotel (usually on sundays). For the ladies, make sure you stand out from the crowd by wearing bright sexy bikinis and attractive coverups if you want to get free drinks or cabana invites (oh yeah). Take a look at my outfits and links below for some ideas. So you finished the pool party, now its time to go home and take a quick nap, eat and change and its time to really party! The best clubs in Miami which will have the famous DJs playing are STORY, LIV, ROCKWELL (more of a hip hop vibe) and MOKAI. For most of those events you will need to purchase tickets in advance or give a fat bribe to one of the bouncers. At the end of my post you will find the link to where you can purchase tickets to all of the events. So, you partied it up until 5 am and don’t feel sleepy yet? Ok, then its time to move on to the after hours! The most popular one’s are SPACE and E11EVEN (this one resembles a gentlemen’s club so if you are not into that scene then go to SPACE which is just across the street). Many of you are coming just for the ULTRA FESTIVAL which this year is on March 24-26. That is always held in Downtown Miami which is a short cab ride away across the bridge from South Beach. For this event, attire is pretty much bikinis with some body paint and glow sticks.
